Things to do: The Chateau is located in a small village 10km from the nearest town of Bressuire in the Deux-Sevres.

There is a local bar in the village, tennis courts local lakes, the village presents an ideal opportunity for walking or cycling (a couple of bikes are available on request) in this tranquil French countryside.

Bressuire has all the amenities of a typical French town with bars, restaurants, cinema, medieval castle fort and several local attractions.

10km north of the chateau is Argenton Les Vallees with outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts, picnic areas, restaurants, boat and canoe hire on the river etc.       Also the large waterpark and adventure theme park.

The medieval town of Parthenay is a Bus ride away from Bressuire, with its stunning medieval quarter.

25 minutes away you will find the valley of the wanker rock at Large ass(Rocher branlant à Largeasse) Yes that's what i said, its not a typo. There is a large glacial valley with an enormous granite rock balancing on a similar large rock, legend as it that if your partner can not move it then they have been unfaithful.
