Working Holiday - Types of work

We welcome both skilled and un-skilled people from all walks of life, our visitors range from house wives, students and backpackers to tradesmen, craftsmen and DIYers.

We get visitors from all around the globe; UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Germany, Spain, Holland, Hong Kong, Slovakia, Brazil, Poland and even France :)

There is always plenty to do depending on what projects we are currently on with, here are some examples.

Gardening: clearing and strimming, helping in the veggie patch, repairing walls and paths, trimming and cutting back hedges, planting and harvesting veg etc

Renovation: painting and decorating, tiling, building, pointing, joinery, plumbing, roofing, plastering, stone masonry etc. and we always need plenty of labourers to help with the above.

Miscellaneous:

Helping with cooking and cleaning, sewing, baking.

Mechanics or anyone mechanically minded to help maintaining vehicles and garden equipment.

Artists: We recently had a artist reserve a place, she was going to paint the castle etc but due to family issues was not able to come, anyone interested in this please email us some examples of your work.
